One of the most common concerns we hear at Divine Mercy Cosmetics  is sensitive skin. Our guests who have irritated and reactive skin often convert from conventional cosmetics to clean beauty, looking for natural solutions. 

What most people don’t know is that there is a difference between sensitive and sensitized skin. Below, we outline the main differences. 

Sensitive Skin

Usually a genetic predisposition, sensitive skin appears thinner or has a frail protective barrier, which can lead to easily irritated skin. This can look like flushed skin with broken capillaries, pustules, papules or feel painful from tightness or dryness.
